The ARRL Field Day is always in June. The purpose of field day is to test the amateur radio communities ability to set up and operate in a simulated emergency condition. In 2007 47 people participated in field day set up and operation. The 2007 field day was at the Grange in Sequim, WA. The 2008 field day is scheduled to be back at the Fairgrounds by the Port Angeles Airport. Link to ARRL 2008 Field Day Package in .PDF format.
