Many hams in Clallam County are active on repeaters. There are many local and regional repeaters accessible througout the area, some of which are linked to other repeaters throughout the world.

Packet and APRS
Packet radio and APRS is used to transfer digital information to and from fixed and mobile locations in the field, passing a variety of types of data in a clean, error-free manner.

Scanning
Listening to the radio scanner can be interesting to listen to, and can be very valuable during emergencies.
